I’m sure we all have seen those videos around YouTube and Facebook, cheekily titled $h!t _____ say! I have to admit, one afternoon I got stuck on YouTube chuckling at the many things different types of people say. New York based Hunter Public Relations decided to have a little fun, and produced their own video capturing the stuff PR people say.
I think I’m known for asking for a few big favours, avoiding being placed on speakerphone, and of course, sharing my thoughts! What are some other stuff that PR people say?
If Steve Jobs sold sticks, chances are I would be purchasing a bundle.
Yes those are my words and I still stand by them. I was unfortunately informed of his passing a few minutes ago and yes, I’m surprised how emotional I feel about it. I got the message via text, and was so disgusted by its meaning, I literally threw my phone on the ground (no worries, it was my work crack berry).
Will we ever find genius again as was manifested from Steve Jobs’ imagination?
Prior to 2007 Michael Vick was one of the celebrated young quarterbacks in the National Football League (NFL). Despite his known bad boy behaviour, Vick was still a hero amongst fans and the NFL organisation for his athletic abilities. In early 2007 however, admiration for Vick on and off the field abruptly arrested after he was implicated in an illegal dog fighting ring and served time following his guilty plea.
I lost my freedom. I lost my money and I lost my family. All because of irrational decisions and using poor judgement. Think before you speak, think before you act and think before you make decisions in life. — Michael Vick
Alright I couldn’t really help myself with that headline, but I will try to keep it to just that one.
Yes I know that sounds a bit rude, but give me a chance, I have a good reason for my antisocial behaviour. Recently I’ve been getting lots of requests from businesses in my immediate community to become friends on Facebook. While it is the norm for a small community with businesses seeking to reach their immediate audience, I’m not a fan of Friending people strictly for business purposes. Just like bad networkers do offline, after a while a potential online contact or customer gets disgusted with incessant pitches. And that is really bad for any business.
